Bank Saint Petersburg held its first Analyst Day

On April 10, 2015, Bank Saint Petersburg held its first Analyst Day. Among the Bank's guests were the analysts of various investment banks, as well as journalists from the leading federal and regional mass media.

The opening speech was presented by Mr. Konstantin Noskov, Vice-President, Finance Director: We would like to extend a warm welcome to the participants of the Bank's first ever Analyst Day. This meeting should give the analysts assessing BSPB's performance an opportunity to speak directly to the Bank's senior management. Our aim is to give a detailed insight into our understanding of the Bank's development strategy.

The first session meeting was headed by Mr. Konstantin Balandin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, who presented the Bank's strategy for 2014–2017. It was followed by a Q&A session with input from Mr. Vladislav Guz, Chairman of the Management Board, who expanded on the Bank's current position and development prospects. Mr. Guz answered a considerable number of questions relating to branch network expansion, participation in the state capital injection program for banks through federal loan bonds (OFZs), the Bank's M&A plans, and other issues.

The Analyst Day also provided the guests with an opportunity to speak directly to the representatives of the Bank's various  businesses. The second session was introduced by Mr. Alexander Konyshkov, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. His presentation covered the Corporate Business performance in 2014 and its plans for the current year. He was followed by Ms. Marina Gorilovskaya, Director of the Retail Business. She told the audience about successful implementation of the Bank's retail business development strategy. The presentations delivered by the business unit representatives were received with particular interest.

The guests were also invited on a tour of the Bank's headquarters, and visited Tsentralny Outlet Office, including its Car Lending, Mortgage Lending and Private Banking sectors.

Despite of the fact that it was a new experience for the Bank, the Analyst Day was beyond any doubt a great success, allowing the Bank's guests to obtain detailed first hand information on the Bank's development strategy. We look forward to hosting such meetings on a regular basis.
