Bank ordinary shares begin trading on RTS

Trading of shares of “Bank “Saint-Petersburg” Open Joint-Stock Company (“BSPB” or the “Company”) in the “V” quotation list of the Russian Trading System (RTS) under the ticker STBK is to begin on 6 December 2007.  

Trading of BSPB’s shares in the “V” quotation list of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) is expected to start within the next three working days.

There will be no changes in OTC trading of BSPB's unlisted global depositary receipts (“GDRs”). The Company will announce the freeze of GDR trading, termination of the GDR programme, as well as the conversion of GDRs into ordinary shares in the nearest future.  

As previously announced, on 30 November 2007 the Central Bank of Russia registered the report on BSPB’s share issue via open subscription. The placement comprised 50.75 million ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1 ruble.
