The Bank's own equity grew 45% in the 1st half-year
Bank “Saint Petersburg” summarized its performance for the 1st half of 2007.
Its assets increased by 37% in six months and amounted to 83 095 million rubles as at 1 July.
The volume of the funds attracted from the clients grew by 32% and reached 70.7 billion rubles.
The loan and comparable arrears were up 45% for the 1st half-year and accounted for 66.3 billion rubles.
In the 2nd quarter the Head Office of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for Saint Petersburg registered a report on the results of the additional issue of the shares of Bank “Saint Petersburg”, which allowed to increase the Bank’s capital by 1.6 billion rubles. The growth of its own equity in the 1st half-year made up 45% and reached 8 315 million rubles as at 01.07.2007.
The balance sheet profit gained by the Bank for the first six months of 2007 amounted to 1 239 million rubles, which is 2.3 times more than for the same period last year.
