The Bank acts as a guarantor before the customs authorities

Bank “Saint Petersburg” has been included in the register of the banks and other credit institutions entitled to act as a guarantor before the customs authorities. This is evidenced with the License of the Federal Customs Service of Russia No. 99 received by the Bank on 1st March 2007.

By using the customs guarantees the Bank’s clients get an opportunity to postpone the customs payments up to 1 year as well as accelerate the customs clearance of the goods crossing the boarder of the Russian Federation. The guarantee excludes the necessity to freeze significant funds on the accounts of the customs authorities. The guaranteed deal presumes fewer expenses for the enterprise than when it takes a standard bank loan.

The FCS of Russia has fixed for Bank “Saint Petersburg” the maximum amount of all concurrent guarantees at 700 million rubles and the maximum amount of one bank guarantee at 140 million rubles.
