Bank "Saint Petersburg" summarized its performance in 2006

 

Its assets amounted to 60.6 billion rubles, having grown 95% in 2006. The Bank’s equity increased 98% and accounted for 6,049 million rubles.
The customer accounts were up 2.1 times in the past year and reached 53.5 billion rubles.
The loan and comparable arrears grew 2.1 times to 45.6 billion rubles.
The Bank’s balance sheet profit for 2006 was 1,434 billion rubles, or 23% more than for 2005.
In the opinion of First Deputy Chairperson of Bank “Saint Petersburg” Elena Ivannikova the main result of the Bank’s operation in the past year was its continuous growth both in terms of the business volumes and the share in the financial market of Saint Petersburg. In 2006 the Bank made a successful entry to the international debt market: it issued Eurobonds, attracted a subordinated loan and received credit lines from the larger foreign financial institutions
